REGAL PROFILE- BLACK DUCK DRAKE
Probably one of the first waterfowl to be encountered by the Pilgram hunters were the American Black Ducks. An occasional visitor to the Midwest the Black Duck is truly an Eastern specie. They are actually my favorite wildfowl, possibly because they are so rare here in Kansas, maybe the dark and light coloring seen while flying. My tribute to the magnificent American Black Duck, this is his profile!
Carved by hand from an American black walnut hand turned duck call this call sports a stately American Black Duck Drake profile. All hand carved from his original artwork, Joe Bucher, using only the very finest artist oil paints imported from Europe, carefully has painted meticulously great detail into this one of a kind call! The subtle but rather complexed coloring of this wildfowl makes an interesting and challenging final painting and gives a waterfowler one huge love of this specie!
