Not very good some would say. Doesn’t look like a duck others might ad. But with all its flaws it takes on the charm of folk art.  Yes, this wood duck carved out of an Osage orange or hedge tree, this little wood duck was my first carved call. I didn’t like it myself at first, but ask me today, I would tell you with a resounding “it’s not for sale”. This duck call is the treasure of my collection.  Crude yes, folk art for sure, it was a diamond in the rough!
